This little cottage was built in 1960 and I have owned it since 1996, and every tenant who has lived here has enjoyed it's unique charm. Generally I think it's best for a single person simply because it is so small, but several couples have lived in it successfully.
Please have a look at the floor plan and notice the dimensions. You will set up your own electric, cable internet and gas accounts (the gas account is optional), and you will pay the City of Asheville bill to me, since I keep that in my name and pay it online. That bill has been running around $50-$55/mo. You will also be responsible for yard maintenance: mowing, weeding and raking leaves, I may have a mower which you can use. The house has electric baseboard heaters and new this year I am installing a vented natural gas wall furnace which should be super efficient and economical. The little yellow house is on Beaverdam Road, where there is a fair amount of traffic, especially morning and evening, but not so much at night since Beaverdam is a bedroom community. The location is so convenient and walkable to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, banks - North Asheville is truly a preferred area!
